My goal, with about half the paintings I start. Is to create a figurative work, that looks like a song by the Cocteau Twins. Dreamy, ethereal, gothy, beautiful, lush, and other worldly. I believe I’ve only achieved it about half a dozen times. With a few others coming close yet flawed in some way.
